Translation

One of the main tasks of our company is translating various types of written documents, in particular medical translations.

Being specialized in medical terminology doesn’t mean we don’t handle other types of translations. To be able to convey the message of the source text correctly, it is essential to master the subject. Therefore, it’s important for us to know the subject in advance. It is advisable to provide us with a fragment of the text. This ensures that we can assess whether we have sufficient knowledge of the subject. Quality is our primary goal. As a result, we don’t accept assignments if we are unsure whether we have sufficient knowledge to provide a qualitative document.

It is also important to know the difference between source and target language.

The source language is the language in which the original text is formatted. From this formatting, the translation to the target language is made.

Source languages: Dutch, French and English
Target languages: Dutch and French

Possible language combinations: 

• Dutch to French
• French to Dutch
• English to Dutch
• English to French

The translating rates at MultitasQ are set per word. This makes it easier for both parties to estimate the cost for each assignment. The rates are negociable depending on the terminology and/or type of document.

€ 0,08 - 0,15 (excl. VAT)

Weekend/urgent assignments rate per word
€ 0,10 - 0,25 (excl. VAT)

Proofreading

Proofreading is the revision of written documents in order to correct grammatical errors and spelling mistakes. Languages for proofreading are Dutch, French and English.

Rates:

The rate for proofreading is set at € 20 - 40 (excl. VAT) per hour, depending on the terminology and/or type of document.
